TEEM PLAYER
TODD CANTWELL says
Teemu Pukki is underrated
and has more to his game
than just goals.
The Norwich striker set
up Cantwell for his first
Premier League goal, then
bagged his fifth of the
season in the 3-2 defeat by
Chelsea.
“There are lessons to
learn but we’re not far off,”
said midfielder Cantwell.
“We only need to make
some tweaks.
”It’s brilliant to play with
Teemu. He’s not just a

goalscoring striker, he
brings a lot more to the
team with his assists and
his workrate. He is
underrated in that
sense.
“I don’t think it’s
come as a
surprise to many
people down this
way, but the rest
of the league must
realise what a striker
we have. Hopefully he
can do it for the
rest of the
season.”

WINNER TAMMY A LOO-SER
FROM FRONT PAGE
Saturday’s 3-2 victory at Carrow
Road, while Mason Mount netted
his second in as many games. But
the striker failed to perform in the
post-match drugs test, needing two
hours to give a sample. It meant
Abraham had to join club staff in a

car back to London. But with
Gareth Southgate naming his squad
this week, Blues boss Frank
Lampard reckons it will not be long
before Abraham and Mount are
starring for England. He said: “If
they keep going, I’m sure they will
get that recognition.”

THEY SAID IT...
I think 2-2 at half-time was the
right result. Then Chelsea were
dominating in the first 15 minutes
of the second half and that gave
them the edge.
DANIEL FARKE

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has
lost none of his three managerial
meetings with Norwich (W2 D1),
winning both of his visits to Carrow
Road (also 4-3 with Derby in
December 2018) – Mason Mount
has been on the scoresheet in
both such wins.
Norwich have scored at least twice
in 16 of their last 17 home league
games, bagging a total of 46 goals
in this period. However, this was
their first home league defeat of
2019 (P12 W8 D3 L1).
Both Norwich and Chelsea had
scored after just five minutes and
32 seconds, the earliest time
taken for both teams to find the
net in a Premier League fixture
since November 2017, when
Crystal Palace v Everton was at 1-1
after 5:25.
