pretty rough month of not very much

happening in the world of PC gaming. At

least you can play this remastered edition of

the one good Red Faction game – the one

that lets you hammer away at a dystopian

Martian colony.

SHINING RESONANCE REFRAIN

Have you tried to use Steam’s upcoming
tab? It’s completely useless – an
incomprehensible, unfiltered list. So shout
out to subreddit r/PCGameReleases, which
is a useful way to track interesting upcoming
releases. Anyway, Shining Resonance
Refrain is a remaster of a PS3-era Sega
JRPG, now localised for Western markets.

THE BANNER SAGA 3

Hey, it’s an actual game! This one’s the

final chapter in an RPG series about a bunch

of Vikings, journeying through a mythical

land, biffing things along the way. The

Banner Saga spins your decisions and

battles into a branching narrative where lots

of people will probably die. The initial two

games are good, so this should be too.
