Extended Data Fig. 3 | BPSCSK colonizes the large intestine. Antibiotic-
treated mice (n = 5 mice from one independent experiment) were orally
administered CBBPSCSK. Two weeks later, BPSCSK localization around
the mucosal epithelium (top) and lumen (bottom) of the caecum were
visualized by fluorescence in situ hybridization. Entire caecum cross-
sections were hybridized with a probe specific for BPSCSK. Sections were
counterstained with Hoechst dye to visualize the nuclei. Representative
