Vintage-inspired footwear

designer Rachel Simpson has

paired up with dance clothing

and footwear company

Freed of London to create a

new range of bridal shoes.

The shoes, which will be

hand-made in London, come

in seven different vintage-

inspired designs with a

distinctly 1920s feel.

Rachel said: “Having always

wanted to manufacture here

in the UK, joining up with

Freed of London has been

a bit of a dream come true.

Their attention to detail and

craftsmanship is second to

none, and complements

the Rachel Simpson brand

perfectly.”

Freed of London has been

creating shoes since 1929

which provide both comfort

and support, perfect for any

bride who plans on dancing

the night away.

GROWING UP

After almost three years of trading, The White Room Bridal Boutique

is readying itself for expansion. The Sheffi eld shop is adding two

new labels to the boutique, Pronovias and Kate Halfpenny, and will

revamp the store with a brand new look. The shop will close on 16

July for the refurbishments including new rails and a second fi tting

room. Reopening on 2 August, the store will host a mini wedding

fair complete with a fl orist and photographer. The team will also

increase by 50% with the staff count increasing from two to three.
