Alyce Paris has gone for full-on glamour with its

new collection. Key pieces include full-length

Champagne and scarlet dresses with baroque or

lace detailing on the bodices and fl ared skirting.

Other pieces feature thigh-high splits and daring

side cut-outs, perfect for the prom princess looking

to make a statement.

Although the taffeta prom dress has declined in

popularity, chiffon-based fabrics have stepped up

to take its place. For its next collection Crystal

Breeze has opted for a range of slimmer-lined

dresses using netting and mesh, as the fuller

princess type gowns have fallen out of favour

with UK girls. Soft fruity shades of apricot and

peach will be on display in Harrogate along

with pastel colours. More vibrant hints of

blue, violet and red are also key, with strapless

fl oor-length dresses jazzed up with sparkling

embellishments.
