Man City4 - 0 Man City 3- 0
City really finding their rhythm
now and I fancy them to win
comfortably against a
more open Brighton team

Brighton have started the season
better than I expected, but this
is Man City at home, it’s going to
be a long day for the Seagulls

Brighton Brighton

Chelsea 3 - 1 Chelsea2 - 0
Big win for Frank last week
and I expect that confidence to
get them a convincing win
against this gritty Sheff Utd team

Chelsea’s defence looks very
suspect, but I think with Rudiger
back and being at home, they
can get their first clean sheet of
the season

Sheff Utd Sheff Utd

Rangers 2 - 1 Rangers 1 - 1
Feel like Rangers have really
closed the gap between
themselves and Celtic I’m
going home win

Celtic haven’t looked good
in Europe and I like Rangers
signing of Jermaine Defoe.
Rangers could shade it, but I will
go for double points

Celtic Celtic

Leicester 2 - 1 Leicester 1 - 1
Two teams who like to attack,
Leicester have to be careful of
Bournemouth on the counter
attack but I think they’ll just have
to much for Bournemouth

Two teams here that like to play
football. I prefer Leicester’s
defence but Bournemouth’s
attack so I will go a score draw

B’mouth B’mouth

Arsenal 2 - 2 Arsenal 1 - 1
Massive game for both Arsenal
defence still looks leaky but Spurs
attack needs to step up, always
goals in this fixture so I’m going
score draw

This should be a cracking derby.
I think Spurs are the marginally
better side, but the Gunners are
at home. I’m going for another 1-1

Spurs Spurs

SIKA MANU wants to leave
Hull FC with the perfect
present – a Grand Final win.
The Tonga captain, 32,
has announced he will join
veteran Mark Minichiello in
hanging up his boots at the
end of the season.
The double Challenge Cup
winner hopes to add a Super
League ring to his honours.
Manu said: “Hopefully, I
can give the supporters one
last treat before I retire.
“We’re in with a chance of
making the play-offs and
going on towards the Grand
Final, so that is the aim.”
He hopes to play tonight,
despite a calf issue, but
Ratu Naulago, Albert Kelly
and Minichiello are out. The
Giants’ squad includes new
recruit Chester Butler.

a Final bow
JUSTIN HOLBROOK has
urged St Helens not to
suffer any sort of Challenge
Cup hangover.
Saints will lift the League
Leaders’ Shield tonight for
the second year running
after being outplayed by
Warrington at Wembley.
Coach Holbrook said:
“We’ve got to get up for the
game, which will be hard.
We ask a lot of the players
every week and this week
will probably be the hardest.
“The shield is great
reward for being the most
consistent side but the play-
offs are more important.”
Saints are without
Lachlan Coote and Dom
Peyroux while key prop
Liam Watts returns for the
Tigers.
Holbrook: It
will be hard
SIO IS SUCH
A SIXY DEVIL
Hat-trick extends Salford winning run
KEN SIO’S hat-trick made it six
in a row for the Red Devils to give
Warrington a cup-final hangover.
Salford were 12 points behind the
Wolves before their last clash on July
12, but with the Wembley winners
having lost all six Super
League matches since,
they are now level.
It has been a remark-
able run by Ian Watson’s
side and no side will rel-
ish facing them in the
play-offs on this evidence.
Warrington had just
one training session after
Saturday’s Challenge Cup
win over St Helens, but
were within two points
early in the second half. They could
not sustain that effort and a third
defeat of the season by Salford puts
their play-off place at risk.
Steve Price made seven changes to
his Wembley team and they matched
the home side in an attritional first
half. The only points came via a Kris-
nan Inu penalty before
winger Sio took control.
Jake Bibby added a
score of his own then Sio
raced 80 metres to
complete his hat-trick.
Another try would
have seen Salford leap-
frog the Wolves into
second place, but
instead Danny Walker
scored a late consola-
tion for the visitors.
