While it’s unclear how THE BOLD &
THE BEAUTIFUL’s Dr. Jor-dan Armstrong will fit in
when he debuts on Mon-day, August 29, we do know
one thing about him: “He’s available!” quips portrayer
Vincent Irizarr y, whose last soap role was Deimos on
DAYS OF OUR LIVES. The AMC vet (as David)
adds that he will be sharing screen time with former
colleague Thorsten Kaye (Zach; now B&B’s Ridge)
as well as Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke). “I often saw

her in passing, so it’s won-derful to get to work with

her here.” A daytime MVP since the

1980s, Irizarr y has also ap-peared on SANTA BARBA-

RA (as Scott), GUIDING LIGHT (as twins Nick and

Lujack) and Y&R (as Da-vid). “I love this medium,”

he says. “You can have a character that keeps mor-

phing into something else.” And his recurring role will

leave him plenty of time for his other pursuits. (He’s a

real-estate agent as well as a sommelier.) But if B&B

wanted Jordan to stick around, he’s up for it. “None

of these jobs,” he says, “de-tract from the others.”

Irizarry’s playing doctor.

Lucas Adams’ Tripp and Na-
dia Bjorlin’s Chloe say their good-byes to Salem
this week. Adams joined the soap in
2017 as the long-lost son of Steve and Mob princess
Ava. As for Bjorlin, she’s played the former Ghoul
Girl on and off for 19 years. Both exits are plot-dictated.
