REAL-LIFE WEDDINGS

I our fathers are no longer with us,
and we knew they would have been
so happy to see us get married.
Lots of the flowers used to
decorate our ceremony venue were
also used at our reception, and the
neutral colour scheme with soft
pink and touches of gold worked
beautifully in both spaces. Our florist
created amazing white, cream and
pale blush pink floral arrangements,
and included roses, dahlias, astrantia
and soft grey foliage.
I fell in love with the idea of tall
cherry blossom table centres with
tealights hanging from the branches,
but they were out of season for July.
Our florist made them artificially,
which I was sceptical about at
first, but they looked fantastic and
were a huge talking point among
our guests. We also used dozens
of tealights to fill the space with
candlelight the whole room looked
magical! It took my breath away.
CANDLELIGHT AND FLOWERS
LOOKED SO ROMANTIC!
