SSS di i hSardinianhaven! Aft j t! Afterjusta
ttwo-hour flight and a 60-minute
ttransfer, we were at the stunning
RResortValle dell’Erica Thalasso &
SSPA5*, which felt a million miles
aaway from home.
Situated on the coastwith
eight secluded beach coves, this
traditional-style resorthas oodles
of rustic charm and alaid-back
vibe. There are four (yes, four!)
swimming pools on site foryou to
cooloff fromtheItalian sunshine.
The swim-upbar was ourpersonal
fave (obvs!).As if that wasn’t choice
enouugh,the resort alsoboasts five
ddifferent restaurants. The only
qquestion is, which one will you
ttryout first?
We spent our first afternoon
checkingout the incredible spa
relaxing in one of the outdoor
pools withthe sunbeamingdown
was the most fantastic start to our
trip. The next few days involved
sunning, relaxing, and, of course,
wining and dining. Well, it wouldn’t
be an Italian tripwithoutpasta and
wine,would it?! On that note,the
Sardinian sparkling wine called
Torbato is uh-mazing a must try.
On our final day we tooka
private speedboat ride around
thearchipelagotoexplore some of
Sardinia’sbestbeaches. It wasn’t
longbefore we were jumpingoff
the boat into the gorgeously warm
waters. We swam upto the nearest
desertedbeachtobepresented
withan endless strip of unspolit,
golden sand. Hello, paradise! I
even had to add #nofilter to my
Instagram pics, so that everyone
would know it was the real deal.
If you’re looking for an island
getawaythat doesn’t involve long-
haul, Sardinia could be the perfect
paradisedestination...
Bookit:Prices start from £1 03
