OUR TRAVELS
I
talyislong regarded as
one of the most romantic
countries inEurope, so we
were beyond excited to visit
beautiful Tuscany.
Nestled within thejaw-
droppingly stunning Chianti
Wine Region, Castello Del Nero
isagorgeous, traditional hotel
surrounded by acres of rolling
Italian countryside.
Oncewe’dcheckedin,we
headed to our room andwere met
withoriginalbeamed ceilings,
beautifulstand-alonebathtubs
andquaint white shutters on the
windows. The view was something
else; fields filled with vineyards
and olive trees for as far as theeye
could see sodreamy.
The hotelishometothe
Michelin-starredLaTorre
restaurant, which served the most
gorgeous 5-coursedinner I’ve ever
experienced the deep fried eggs
withparmesan were delicious!
Withan incredible terrace and
views to die for, during the
summer you can dine al fresco.
Ahighlight of the trip was our
private cooking class with the
restaurant’s Executive Chef,where
we learnt to makepasta and
tiramisu from scratch. If you’rea
foodie, this is one for you!
The on-site ESPAspa is
another feature not tobe missed.
Gaze out over thegreat Tuscan
countryside in the outdoor
hydrotherapy pool, before
indulging in a treatment theSkin
Purifying Facial was amazing! My
skin felt incredible for days after.
If you’re dreaming of a relaxing
minimoon escape to eat, drink,
relax and soak up the Tuscan
atmosphere, then CastelloDel
Nero will not disappoint.
