OUR TRAVELS
I
talyislong regarded as
one of the most romantic
countries inEurope, so wewere beyond excited to visit
beautiful Tuscany.Nestled within thejaw-
droppingly stunning ChiantiWine Region, Castello Del Nero
isagorgeous, traditional hotelsurrounded by acres of rolling
Italian countryside.Oncewe’dcheckedin,we
headed to our room andwere metwithoriginalbeamed ceilings,
beautifulstand-alonebathtubsandquaint white shutters on the
windows. The view was somethingelse; fields filled with vineyards
and olive trees for as far as theeyecould see sodreamy.
The hotelishometotheMichelin-starredLaTorre
restaurant, which served the mostgorgeous 5-coursedinner I’ve ever
experienced the deep fried eggs
withparmesan were delicious!
Withan incredible terrace andviews to die for, during the
summer you can dine al fresco.Ahighlight of the trip was our
private cooking class with therestaurant’s Executive Chef, where
we learnt to makepasta andtiramisu from scratch. If you’rea
foodie, this is one for you!The on-site ESPAspa is
another feature not tobe missed.Gaze out over thegreat Tuscan
countryside in the outdoorhydrotherapy pool, before
indulging in a treatment theSkinPurifying Facial was amazing! My
skin felt incredible for days after. If you’re dreaming of a relaxing
minimoon escape to eat, drink, relax and soak up the Tuscan
atmosphere, then CastelloDelNero will not disappoint.
