dotfrontsight.with standard deviation of only around
10 fps on most loads and closer to 5
fps on the subsonic Clean-22.The magazines are fairly easy to load,
but my son found that you’re better
off thumbing rounds into the mag
much like a centerfire pistol rather than
pulling down on the loading tabs. If
you pull down on the tabs too much,
it allows rounds to drop into the mag
out of position. After having to unload
a couple mags and start over, he
switched to thumbing the rounds in
one at a time and the issue went away.Once we finished with more serious
shooting, I pulled out my bag of
mixed .22s. This is a huge collection of
leftover .22s from over the years and
includes a random mix of brands, bullet
styles and power levels. It’s my plinking
ammo stash. Even with this smorgas-
bord of ammo, loaded at random in
magazines, the TX22 did quite well. I
had two duds in the batch, but for ev-
erything that went off the TX22 cycled
