Laurent Ballesta e Blancpain ancora una volta uniscono gli
sforzi per dare vita alla quinta spedizione del progetto Gom-
bessa. Al largo delle coste della Francia bagnate dal Medi-
terraneo la squadra composta da tre subacquei e guidata
da Ballesta utilizzerà per la prima volta la combinazione fra
immersione di saturazione e l’immersione autonoma con cir-
colatore a circuito chiuso. Come nelle precedenti edizioni,
anche Gombessa V rivivrà in un lungometraggio, in un’espo-

is backing the fifth Gombessa expedition, a new exploration
mission taking place in the Mediterranean off the French
coast throughout July. For the first time ever, the expedition
combines saturation diving with scuba using closed circuit
rebreathers. As with previous expeditions, Gombessa V will
be the subject of a feature-length documentary film, an ex-

A wind from 5 to 57 knots, 480 boats entered, 66 miles
and only one winner: the M1 Ladycat powered by Spin-
drift. That was the 2019 edition of the Bol d’Or Mirabaud,
the most important inland lake regatta in the world that
welcomes its competitor every year on Lake Geneva.
For the sixth year running, Hublot served as official timpe-
keeper of the race and launched a special edition of the
Classic Fusion Chronograph.
