Codecasa
Quello che per ora viene chiamato solo con
il suo nome di matricola, C123, sarà il primo
55 metri costruito dai Cantieri Codecasa
negli ultimi vent’anni (anche se un suo fratello
delle stesse dimensioni, l’F78, lo sta già
seguendo a ruota). Articolato su quattro ponti,
è uno yacht dislocante con scafo in acciaio
e sovrastruttura in alluminio che, grazie a
due motori Caterpillar da 2365 hp ciascuno,
raggiungerà, a dislocamento leggero, la
velocità massima di 17 nodi. Lo yacht è
stato progettato inhouse dal cantiere, ma
nelle sue linee si riconoscono gli stilemi che
hanno reso famose altre barche di Codecasa
come i 51 metri Emelina e Aldabra. Gli
interni, confortevoli e luminosi grazie alla luce
naturale proveniente dalle ampie finestrature
presenti su ogni ponte, saranno progettati
dall’architetto personale dell’armatore in
collaborazione con l’ufficio stile del cantiere.
In linea di massima C123 prevede una suite
armatoriale e una suite vip sul main deck.
Sul lower deck trovano spazio quattro cabine
ospiti e sei per l’equipaggio. L’efficienza della
carena e i serbatoi del gasolio da 140mila litri
assicurano al Codecasa C123 un’autonomia
ben più che oceanica: 5000 miglia nautiche.

lthough currently only known as C123, Codecasa’s first 55-metre in two decades is a
displacement with a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure. After that long wait,
however, she will be followed in quick time by the similarly-dimensioned F78.
Spread over four decks, the 55-metre is powered by twin 2,365 hp Caterpillar 3512C engines
which give her a maximum speed of 17 knots in light displacement mode.
Designed entirely in-house, the yacht still retains many of the styling elements that have made
other Codecasa yachts famous, not least the legendary 51-metresEmelina and Aldabra. The
interiors are bright and comfortable, thanks to the abundance of natural light that pours in
large windows on every deck. The décor will be designed by the owner’s personal architect in
partnership with Codecasa’s own styling office. C123 has a master suite and VIP suite on her
main deck but there are also four guest staterooms and six crew cabins on the lower deck. Her
exceptionally efficient hull and 140,000-litre diesel tanks guarantee a fabulously long range of
5,000 nautical miles. She is expected to launch in summer 2020.
