Tommaso Spadolini ha recentemente
svelato il progetto di un 43 metri che sta
disegnando per un armatore europeo.
Ed è lui stesso a raccontare come sarà:
«L’idea iniziale è nata da un mio precedente
disegno, il 47 metri Aslec4 costruito da
Rossinavi nel 2012. Al cliente sono piaciuti
il profilo esterno con la sua sovrastruttura
ribassata, ma al tempo stesso aveva
alcune specifiche richieste. Prima di
tutto, desiderava un pozzetto grande e
aperto a poppa del ponte principale, che
potesse essere riparato da tendalini. Inoltre
necessitava di tender di buone dimensioni
quindi è stata prevista una grande scalinata
di poppa che dà accesso ai due garage
laterali. Infine desiderava molti spazi aperti
ed è per questo che l’upper deck lounge sul
bridge deck è confortevole ma di dimensioni
ridotte. Il layout interno ha una classica
disposizione a quattro cabine sul ponte
inferiore e l’armatoriale a tutto baglio a prua
del ponte principale», conclude Spadolini.

ommaso Spadolini has revealed the project for a 43-metre for an European client. In
his own words, the Florentine designer describes this project: «An initial inspiration
for him was one of my previous designs, 47-metre Aslec 4 built by Rossinavi in 2012.
He definitely liked the exterior profile with its low-slung superstructure and near vertical
bow, but he had some specific requests of his own. Firstly, he wanted a big, open cockpit
on the main deck aft that can be covered with awnings for shade. Apart from being
something of a design statement, the grand transom staircase can be raised to access two
side-loading garages. Because the client intends using the yacht for long-range cruising
and exploration, he wanted decent-sized tenders and there is space for two 5.5-metre
tenders in the garage bays. We’re also looking into the feasibility of building the hull to
Ice Class. Last, but not least, because the client prefers to spend his time on board in the
open air, the upper deck lounge on the bridge deck is comfortable but deliberately modest
in size.
