life that I cannot get back. So again, the les-
son I think or I hope for folks is you have
got to trust yourself, but you have also got
to know when you do need help but the
help has to come from the right source.
And it’s really hard, it’s just hard especially
when you have got really persuasive sales-
men, trying to sell you stuff. And as I just
mentioned a moment ago, me having that
self-doubt that was just was a really, really
bad costly combination.

So, for all the folks, I would
just hope that you get that
other perspective and may-
be talk to some friends or
something and say 'is this
the right mentor? Is this
the right teacher for me?
Or the right coach?' And of
course, we all do the best
we can with the knowledge
that we are given. But that
certainly would have been
nice to have back. So again, my hope is that
the other folks can learn from my mistakes.

Neil: What are some of the things that you
did before you started your business that
would be helpful tips to some of the lis-
teners who haven't yet taken the first step
of the entrepreneur's way?

Noah: I think that going back to having that
'why’ to having that vision, that dream re-
ally. It is a dream, but the difference... and
we have all heard the phrase 'a goal is a
dream with a deadline.' I think that’s sort
of true, not really... but really the point is I
always knew that I wanted to be a speaker,

and be an author, to speak on big stages
and to write books and teach and coach,
and mentor people. But I did not know
what I wanted to talk about. And I just
made a decision even before I discovered
‘afformations’ and discovered 'The Power
Habit System', I just said, 'I don't want to
say the same thing everybody else does.'
Everybody is parroting the same things, the
same stories over and over again. And I
think that just that deter-
mination to just add some-
thing unique to the space, I
think frankly is one of the
reasons that people come
to me after spending mon-
ey on all the big names, all
the famous dudes, not
making the money, not
having the result, then
they come to me and they
get the result, they make
the money, you know they
have that breakthrough.
And I think that’s a big, big part of that.

Neil: A lot of people are told to follow
their passion when it comes to their ca-
reers and jobs and even businesses. What
is your opinion on that advice?

Noah: That’s another double-edged sword
Neil, and the reason for that is because I've
found in life you can have many passions,
and you can even have many purposes. I
think the point is that people get stuck on
what is my passion? And that is probably
the wrong question. I think that a better
question would be 'how do I want to add
value to the world? How do I want to add
