First H145M


arrives in Serbia
THE FIRST of five
H145Ms ordered for the
Ratno vazduhoplovstvo
i protivvazduhoplovna
odbrana (RV i PVO, Serbian
Air Force and Air Defence)
has arrived in the country.
Serial 14501 (c/n 20231),
was flown to Serbia from
Germany on June 12, still
wearing the temporary
German registration D-HADD.
Currently based at
Batajnica, the RV i PVO
H145M fleet will eventually

move to Niš, where they
will serve with the 119. mhe
(mešovita helikopterska
eskadrila, mixed helicopter
squadron). Two will be
equipped for utility duties
while three will be armed
with seven-barrel launchers
for 80mm (3.15in) rockets
and pods for 12.7mm
M87 machine guns.
Serbia acquired nine
H145Ms, and the remaining
four will be assigned to
the ministry of interior.

338 Mira Phantom
THE ELLINIKI Polemiki
Aeroporia (Hellenic Air
Force, HAF) sent two F-4Es
to Volkel Air Show in the
Netherlands in June. One
of the jets, serial 01507,
belonging to the Andravida-
based 338 Mira ‘Ares’ – the
final HAF Phantom operator


  • received special colours on


its tail and both wing tanks.
Ares, the Greek god of war,
is painted on one side of
the tail, with the Phantom
‘spook’ and ‘338 Goes
Pholkel’ titles on the reverse.
Both Phantoms landed on
June 13 and departed on
the 17th, making a fuel stop

The fi rst H145M for
the RV i PVO was
offi cially unveiled
at the Partner 2019
defence exhibition in
Belgrade on June 25.
