together with an IP-53 display in
the rear cockpit to provide targeting

released photo showing a Su-25UB
upgraded for the suppression
of enemy air defences (SEAD)
mission, armed with Kh-58Us.
A long-delayed programme to
overhaul and upgrade the Frogfoot

fleet was launched by the Peruvian
defence ministry in July 2010, with
the required work to be undertaken
locally at the Lima-based SEMAN
(Servicio de Mantenimiento de la
FAP, FAP Maintenance Services)
Perú – a maintenance, repair and
overhaul (MRO) company owned by
the Peruvian military – together with
a foreign partner. Shortly afterwards
this effort turned into a hotly
contested competition, as Russian,
Belarusian and Ukrainian companies
bid for the lucrative contract.
