are weirder than others
In the name of self-preservation, mating, and
even lunch, many animals have developed some
curious—make that horrifying—habits. The female
praying mantis’s biting the head off her lover is
among the most extreme, but there are plenty of
creatures that have pushed the envelope of good
taste in less murderous ways. Check out a menag-
