The S-16 epitomises user-friendliness...
Here’s how ‘things just work’.

Electrical suite (Batteries; Charger; Inverter)
The electrical system is as straightforward as it can be. Plug in
to a powered site and your three 100Ah batteries will be charged
by the 20A system installed in the hybrid. Connect the Anderson
plug and it will charge as you drive. There is also a 1800W pure
sine wave inverter so you can charge laptops and cameras when
you are deep in the bush without access to a powered site or
generator.

12V awning
Things are getting just way too easy these days. The electrical
awning comes out with the flick of a switch and you only need to
adjust two pre-connected legs to secure an awesome shade. You

can attach walls and floor for more privacy, and if the groun
too hard to peg anything, you can simply attach the awningl
to the pre-mounted mounts on the body of the Saturn 16.

Fold-out bed
The fold-out rear bedding is way easier than it looks.

  • Step 1 - Lower the spare tyres (assisted by well-calibrated
    struts)

  • Step 2 - Undo locks and lift the back section

  • Step 3 - Bring out the side and back walls and latch it inpla

All key components are assisted by gas struts so your old
sporting injuries (be it back, shoulder etc.) won’t suffer any
further strain.
NB. Mars Campers will gladly demonstrate how it works to all
and sundry.

THE BOTTOM LINE
Whether it runs rings around its rivals is yet to
be determined. But regardless, the Saturn 16 is
primed to have any growing family intent on off-
grid forays ‘over the moon’.
Mars Campers may humbly consider it ‘one
small step’ for the company, but in reality it’s
‘one giant leap’ for the hybrid sector.
From my Galileo-like observation, it’s easily
visible that theS-16will become a point of light
in the industry.CTA
