Three people were fatally shot
while sitting inside parked cars in
two separate incidents in Queens
Monday, police said.
The bloodshed started at about
3:45 p.m., when a gunman shot a
21-year-old man sitting in his
white Dodge Charger on Spring-
field Boulevard and 140th Avenue
in Laurelton, cops said.
Medics rushed him to Jamaica
Hospital, where he died.
Cops were looking into whether
the victim was involved in a rob-
bery earlier in the day, a police
source said, and specifically
whether the shooting was carried
out by gang members in retalia-
tion for the robbery.
Hours later, two other men were
fatally shot while sitting in a gray
2018 Kia with New Jersey license
plates on 255th Street near 149th
Drive in Rosedale, police said.
Both were shot multiple times
in the chest and declared dead at
the scene, authorities said.
Witnesses described the car-
nage.
“There was about five shots,” a
57-year-old neighbor named Sam
said.
“One guy was laid back like he’s
sleeping and the other guy’s just
sitting in his seat.”
No arrests had been made in ei-
ther of the shootings as of Mon-
day night. Ben Feuerherd

The House Judiciary Committee
has subpoenaed former White
House staff secretary Rob Porter as
part of its investigation into Presi-
dent Trump’s conduct in office and
whether he should be impeached.
The subpoena demands that Por-
ter testify at a Sept. 17 hearing.
The committee previously sub-
poenaed former Trump campaign
manager Corey Lewandowski and
former White House aide Rick
Dearborn to appear that same day.
All feature prominently in former
special counsel Robert Mueller’s re-
port on Russia and Trump’s possible
obstruction of justice. AP

Harvey Weinstein was slapped
with two more sex-assault
charges in Manhattan court
Monday — as prosecutors re-
vealed that three additional ac-
cusers will be allowed to testify
against him.
The new counts involve “The
Sopranos” actress Annabella Sci-
orra, who has claimed Weinstein
raped her inside her Gramercy
Park apartment in 1993 after she
starred in a film for his movie
studio.
Weinstein, 67, pleaded not
guilty to the two new assault
counts, which pushed his Sept. 9
trial start date back to Jan. 6,
2020.
“Mr. Weinstein, do you want to
go to trial?” asked Manhattan Su-
preme Court Justice James
Burke.
“Not really,” the shamed pro-
ducer quipped, prompting
chuckles in the courtroom.
The judge got testier with
Weinstein when the pervy pro-
ducer whipped out his cellphone
in the courtroom. Burke chas-
tised him, and when the for-
merly powerful producer tried to
interject, the judge barked,
“Don’t talk with me!”
Weinstein’s lawyer, Donna Ro-
tunno, said her client was simply
turning off his phone.
Prosecutors can’t charge the
disgraced mogul with raping Sci-
orra because of the statute of
limitations on the crime at the
time.
But they were able to land a
new indictment carrying new
predatory sexual-assault charges
in the case, securing Sciorra’s
place on the witness stand.
She’ll join the two other
women whose cases make up the

seven counts against Weinstein,
carrying a potential life sentence.
As he was leaving court Mon-
day, Weinstein stuck his tongue
out at photographers but then
crowed to reporters that the
hearing was a “home run” for
him and said, “I’m really good.”
In addition to allegedly as-
saulting Sciorra, Weinstein is ac-
cused of raping an unidentified
woman in 2013 and performing a
forcible sex act on production
assistant Mimi Haleyi in 2006.
But three more women will
also now be allowed to testify,
too, even though their allega-
tions are not part of the case,
bringing the total number of
Weinstein accusers who will ap-
pear to six.
The additional women are be-
ing allowed to tell their stories in
court because prosecutors con-
vinced a judge that they show a
pattern of abuse by Weinstein.
The same tactic was employed
by Pennsylvania prosecutors to
nail serial sex abuser and once-
legendary Hollywood comedian
Bill Cosby.
The additional three women
who will testify against Wein-
stein were not named in the new
court papers and the exact na-
ture of their allegations was not
revealed.
One alleged incident occurred
in the spring of 2004 at a hotel
near Park Avenue in Midtown,
according to the court filing.
Another occurred sometime
between May and July 2005 at 76
Crosby St., a luxury Soho build-
ing known for its celebrity ten-
ants, where Weinstein once
lived, the filing states.
The third incident happened
on Feb. 19, 2013, at a hotel in Bev-
erly Hills, according to the filing.

Harvey smashed SUV into W’chester tree

Harvey Weinstein es-
caped injury when he
crashed his 2017 Jeep in
Westchester County, law-
enforcement sources told
The Post on Monday.
The disgraced movie

mogul, 67, was driving
through Bedford when he
smashed into a tree along
Bedford Center Road
near Succabone Road at
around 8:55 a.m. on Aug.
17, sources said.

Weinstein, who told
cops he swerved to avoid
a deer, said he wasn’t
hurt, the sources added.
The vehicle wound up
on its side and Weinstein
had to kick his way out,

according to a source fa-
miliar with the matter.
Weinstein’s ex-wife,
fashion designer Geor-
gina Chapman, recently
bought a farm in Bedford.
He has been renting a

small home nearby so he
can be close to their kids,
another source said.
Weinstein’s reps de-
clined to comment.
