according to the company’s Face-
book page.
It specializes in gem-encrusted
jewelry and watches popular with
rappers, including pieces made to
resemble skulls, scorpions, fire-
arms and athletic numbers.
Its Instagram page features
photos and videos of customers
including rapper Kodak Black,
who pleaded guilty to federal
weapons charges last week.
“The Avianne experience is
why the biggest artist in the
world come to us! Kodak Black

pulled up before his incident,”
says a caption on a video posted
in June showing the tatted-up,
yellow-haired rapper trying on a
thick chain with a large pendant.
Old-school rapper Slick Rick
commissioned a custom $40,
“iced out Ace of Diamonds” pen-
dant, according to a 2012 video on
the company’s YouTube page
More recently, Avianne created
a custom bandanna style of gold
and blue diamonds for Blueface, a
Los Angeles rapper and School
Yard Crips gang member whose

name and clothing celebrate the
gang’s trademark blue color.
A video posted across the com-
pany’s social-media channels ear-
lier this month shows the piece
being created, with a narrator
claiming it’s the “first ever” of its
kind.
“Man, if you guys take a close
look at the color of the blue —
just look at the color of the blue.
Just look at how beautiful, sky-
blue the diamonds are. Every sin-
gle diamond matches the color,”
the narrator says.

“If you go to most jewelers,
they don’t have this color blue.”
The video, titled “BlueFace
Gets Crowned King Cryp Of The
Century with Cryptonite Collar,”
also shows the bling being deliv-
ered to rapper, who had it fitted
around his neck while wearing a
giant blue bandanna like a cape.
The clip ends with Blueface
grinning broadly as he wears the
piece while performing on an
outdoor stage.
A high-ranking NYPD official
said Avianne shows no allegiance

to the Crips or its rival Bloods
gang, saying the company makes
jewelry “for both.”
“Whoever has the money. It’s
all about the money,” the official
said.
The store was closed on Mon-
day, with workers being inter-
viewed by NYPD detectives and
visiting the nearby Rafaello & Co.
jewelry store, which is also
owned by members of the Aran-
bayev family.

CRIME OF FASHION: Surveillance video released by the
NYPD on Monday shows three men — including one especially
well-dressed dandy (top) — robbing the Avianne & Co. Jewelers
store in the Diamond District on Sunday, with at least two of the
crooks brandishing handguns in a back room and the trio forc-
ing workers to the floor before binding them with zip ties and
