BEST NEW MOUNTAIN
Polaris RMK KHAOS 155

A

phenomenal ride, this sled launches
into a sidehill better than any sled on
the market. With its Walker Evans
Velocity shocks, riders can have their
cake and eat it too by taking big drops and hav-
ing a plush ride as the shocks have various
areas of adjustment. This sled is agile and flick-
able, with a rear suspension that has been
designed to give the rider more control with
less rider input. This translates to less rider
fatigue, the ability to navigate to more areas on
the mountain, and a lot more fun. The PRO-Lite
Seat allows the rider to easily swing a leg to the
other side, and the running boards are designed
to give traction and allow snow to clean out.
Riders found the more time they spent on it, the
more they liked it as it gave them predictable
handling and an easy ride, especially in deep
powder. With the reliable AXYS chassis, forged
A-arms and spindles, the KHAOS is durable;
and we guess the paneling has been beefed up
to prevent our knees from breaking the plastic,
or we’ve just become better riders. Overall, it
was a great year for mountain sleds, and it
should be noted that Ski-Doo’s Expert is a
close second.
