It seems like a weird concept, the idea that clothes can speak.
Well, metaphorically, they can. Classworks Theatre will present an
abundance of heritage clothes, telling the stories of their previous
owners and allowing audiences to interact with them in an immersive
show. The performance will educate audiences on what life was like
for the people who wore the clothes, which originate from various
eras and cultures. Participants must be aged over 14.

Eccentric, old and dear

April 17–

From the pages of Alan Bennett’s memoir, to award-

winning film, The Lady With A Van is now coming to the

Mask Theatre in Peterborough. Get ready to laugh and

cry, watching this true story of an elderly lady who parked

her home, a yellow van, in Alan Bennett’s driveway in the

70s, and stayed there for 15 years. Another favourite of Alan

Bennett’s works, The History Boys, will also becoming to the Key

Theatre later in May.
