FIRST IMPRESSIONS
I’ve had just a bit of time with the a7R IV in my hands,
but it’s similar enough to previous models to feel

won’t have to make many adjustments using the a7R
IV— a plus for photographers who rely on their camera
to earn a living.
The sensor is the headline-grabbing feature. It should

the new imaging engine—the processor, sensor, and
autofocus system—which separate the a7R IV from its
predecessor. The autofocus especially is much more
