 FOXX ROCKS
Jamie Foxx,
Woody Harrelson,
apl.de.ap of the
Black Eyed Peas,
and Spike Lee
partied it up in the
Hamptons at a
fundraiser for the
Apollo Theater
that took in more
than $3 million.
The night also saw
performances by
Pharrell Williams,
Lenny Kravitz,
Darlene Love, the
Dave Matthews
Band (who were
joined onstage by
Maggie Rogers),
and the Isley
Brothers, with the
Roots serving as
house band. The
evening before
the event, Foxx
and will.i.am took
over the DJ booth
at a Southampton
club and held it
down for hours.

MAN OF THE GREENS Justin Timberlake hit the links in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, at a
celebrity golf outing, where he competed against superstar athletes like Steph Curry
and Tony Romo and doled out high-fives to fans as he walked the fairways. A couple
of weeks later, the singer headed into a New York studio to continue work on his next
project. Earlier this year, he posted a photo of himself and longtime collaborator
Timbaland on Instagram, adding “more claps that slap soooooon come!”

BEASTIES GET BACK
Ad-Rock and Mike D of the
Beastie Boys were interviewed
by LL Cool J at Beyond the
Streets, a Brooklyn event that
honored the 30th anniversary
of their classic LP Paul’s
Boutique. “It’s like a dope
house party with an incredible
DJ,” said LL of the album.

Cardi B was in Los Angeles
to appear on Jimmy Kimmel,
where she and her husband,
Offset, performed their new
anti-clickbait single, “Clout.”
The couple just celebrated
their daughter Kulture’s first
birthday. “I feel like I need a
rest,” she said. “But the
happiness my baby brung me,
I could do this over and over.”
