Ruth Griffiths

Chief Executive

Ruth worked in broadcasting for more

than 25 years, notably building the BBC’s

subtitling, sign language interpretation

and audio description services before

joining BSLBT in 2009.

Kerena Marchant

Head of Content

Kerena worked at the BBC for more than

20 years on various programme genres

and was the founder editor for the

Disability Programmes Unit where she

developed strands which challenged the

perceptions of Disability through content

and style. She joined BSLBT in 2016.

Maggie Swinfen

Head of Production & Distribution

Maggie joined BSLBT in 2009 after a

20-year career in production, including

running two small indies. Her experience

spans a wide range of genres including

factual, drama, children’s TV and films.
