done in a distinctive way:
the large cob is pollinated
up to the tip, which has a
rounded appearance.
The plant is strong and
multi-cobbed at lower plant
densities. Up to 17,8t/ha have
been harvested under pivot
irrigation in the western
production regions, with a
density of 72 000 plants/ ha.
In dryland conditions in
KwaZulu-Natal, up to 12t/ ha
have been harvested.
Because the cultivar’s
plant/grain proportion is so
favourable, many farmers
use KKS 8326 B as a feed crop
for their livestock, and when
the grain has been grazed,
it is easy to plant the next
cropthroughthestubble.
K2 wants to assist producers
during the coming season,
and has therefore decided
to offer this exceptional,
well-adapted cultivar
at a special price.
