What are some of your most popular and
delicious dishes? A favourite with guests is our
signature fish chowder made with a selection of
freshly caught reef fish, yellow fin tuna, snapper,
fresh tomato puree and herbs. The delicious
Maldivian spiced tuna steak is also a big hit.
Do you cater for vegetarians? Yes we do.
We’ll discuss dietary requirements with the
couple well ahead of their wedding ceremony,
so we can create a vegetarian menu if desired.
Do you offer both sit-down and cocktail-style
receptions? We can arrange both sit-down and
cocktail-style receptions down on the scenic beach.
Can couples BYO wine? The Wine Loft at
Coco Bodu Hithi offers a wide selection of
Champagnes, wines and spirits for receptions, but
if a couple wants a specific wine that isn’tavailable on our menu, we are happy to arrange
this for them with prior notice.
What exactly does the cost per head cover?
This depends on the scale of reception the
couple wants. Some couples request simple
decorations and have receptions that can be
catered solely by our in-house team, while other
more extravagant receptions involve florists,
venue stylists and other external suppliers. We’ll
provide a quote based on individual needs.
What type of packages do you offer? We
offer intimate ceremony packages, and reception
packages, which are custom-made according to
specific requirements.
Do you have special ceremony areas?
All ceremonies and receptions take place on the
picturesque beach, and we can erect a marquee to
provide a covered area in the case of wet weather.
For evening receptions, do you request an
official finishing time? If the island is occupied
exclusively by a wedding party, there is no set
finishing time. If other guests are present, we
