Sandi said: “There’s a lot more work

and keeping everybody cheerful.

“We did a lot of therapy this year.”

Sandi, 61, also told how the hosts

gatecrashed a wedding bash in the

hotel they stayed in during filming. She

added: “The [bride] is quite drunk and

she came over and took Noel’s hand

and she said, ‘Mr Noel!’ and curtsied.

“We were dragged into photos. Yep,

it’s the bride, groom and Mr Noel.”

The new series of Bake Off starts

today at 8pm on Channel 4.
