5 MINUTES WITH
She’s moved in high-fashion circles for
more than 25 years, but the supermodel
with staying power feels most herself when
she’s keeping it real in jeans and a tee.
How would you sum up your style? “My
personal style is casual, feminine and
vintage. I wear a lot of jeans
and pieces that I’ve collected
over the years, mostly vintage.
I pair these with current
brands like Dôen, Celine
and Stella McCartney.”
Has that evolved over the
years? “My style has always
been more on the classic
side. I’ve worn vintage Levi’s
and white T-shirts since high
school, with a men’s blazer and boots.
It’s evolved more by way of adding in
feminine pieces like dresses and not
being afraid to spend money on updating
my wardrobe from time to time.”

Are there any pieces that are particularly
special to you? “I treasure my Elsa Peretti
Diamonds by the Yard necklace that my
Tiffany [& Co.] family gave me for my
35th birthday—that was 10 years ago.
It is so timeless and I like to layer
other necklaces with it.”
What style advice have you passed down
to your daughter, Dylan Blue [18]? “I’ve told
my daughter to have fun and experiment
with her style—if it makes her feel good,
then it works. I think she’s a lot more
confident and adventurous than I ever was,
but she’s also 5’11” [1.8m] and has legs for
days, so everything looks good on her!”
You star in Tiffany & Co.’s new campaign,
which celebrates individuality—how do you
express yourself? “Fashion has always been
the ultimate way to express yourself and
in my case, hair colour too! I used
to experiment more, but now I keep it
more casual—I know what I like.”
Away from the world of fashion, how do
you like to spend your time? “I love my
job, but when I’m done I like to turn-off
completely and spend time
at home, in nature, with my
family, friends [and] animals.
I love surfing, horseriding,
gardening, camping and
creating art.”
