CHEEKS
To duplicate that rosy just-
in-from-the-cold-and-
snuggling-in-my-boyfriend-
cardigan look, rub a cream
blush on the apples of
your cheeks and blend well.
“Cream looks the most
natural because skin
isn’t matte; it has a shine,”
says Ollivierre. Bright
pink flatters fair or cool
skin tones; peach looks
gorgeous on warm or
deep complexions. We
like Stila Convertible
Color in Petunia and Sweet
Pea ( 2 and 3, $25 each).

LIPS
Nervous about bold color
for your wedding? Don’t
be. “A strong lip on a bride
is classic,” says Ollivierre.
“The biggest Hollywood
stars—Grace Kelly, Marilyn
Monroe, Sophia Loren—
always had lipstick. Keep
everything else muted
and it can look beautiful.”
And don’t get too hung
up on skin tone. “You can
make any of these colors
work for anyone,” says
Ollivierre. “It’s all about
how intensely you apply
them—and your confidence
in wearing them.” Skip
lip liner (it looks harsh) and
swipe straight from the
tube for a vibrant effect,
or pat it on with your
finger for a softer look.
Blot with a tissue and
you’re good to go. Shown:
Troi Ollivierre Matte Luxe
Lipstick in Bob and Parker
( 1 and 8, $28 each) and
Lip Stain in Harry (6, $32).

SKIN
Moisturize well, then apply
a lightweight foundation
to even out skin. (We like
Shiseido Sheer and Perfect
Foundation, 4, $35.) Next,
dab a highlighting cream
on your temples, going
around the eye bone and
just underneath, almost
to the middle of the eye.
“This gives you that extra
little kick by picking up the
light and making the skin
glow,” says Ollivierre, who
swears by RMS Beauty
Living Luminizer (5, $38).

EYES
The most labor-intensive
part of the usual beauty
regimen is the easiest
aspect of this one: There’s
no eye shadow! Instead,
apply that same highlighter
across your lids and on
the inner corners of the
eyes. “This keeps the
effect light, bright, and
natural,” says Ollivierre.
Add a few swipes of
black mascara and that’s
it. We like Lancôme
Grandiôse Mascara ($32).

BROWS
The secret to soft, full
brows is brushing them
up. “This photographs
really well,” says Ollivierre.
First fill in any sparse
spots with brow powder.
Ollivierre used Elizabeth
Arden Beautiful Color
Brow Shaper and Eyeliner
in Sable (7, $23) on all
three models here. Yep,
it’s that versatile. Then
grab a brow brush, spritz
it with hair spray, and
brush upward.
