te ha aperto un – per ora – deludente Museo Permanente
del DesignItaliano, con un’impostazione e un progetto
storico-critico ancora pocoa fuocoe di conseguenza
scelte curatoriali,allestitive e fruitive nonsempre intel-
leggibili e godibili, che sembrano in sostanza frutto di un
approccio un po’ datato e pocospecialistico. Se si tratta
di un primopasso, certo ancheutile e necessario, serve
ben studiare, ponderare e progettare i successivi. La fase
di transizione e trasformazione in atto nel sistemagloba-
le del designha infatti grandenecessità anchedi appro-
priati strumenti storico-critici per potere adeguatamen-

tion that still lack focus and as a consequence curatorial and
presentational choices that are not always intelligible and
enjoyablebutwhichinessenceseemtobethefruitofarather
dated and not very specialized approach. While this is just a
first step, and certainly a useful and necessary one, the next
steps needto be carefully studied, considered and planned.
The phase of transition and transformation in through
which the global system of design is passing is in fact sorely
