However, the small size of the plot made for

a few decisions as to how they were going

to go about executing the build. “This family

simply loves socialising, so there was a challenge to

create a spacious interior,” says the designer.

Nonetheless, it was all hands on deck, with the

owners choosing to embark on the project themselves

without engaging the services of a contractor. A

sterling job was done which culminated in a grand

multi-storey that gives them all the space they need.

Most important for the design team was to ensure

that the interior matched the vibrancy of the owner.

Having travelled extensively and coming from a rich

cultural background with a love of fashion and design,

her team knew exactly how to execute the space. “Her

personality is warm and outgoing and her style very

unique. We wanted to reflect all of these qualities in the

décor,” says the designer.

With a love for bringing people together andhosting

extravagant parties, the interior had to do its job.
