Instead of incorporating
countless products into her
beauty routine (although
she does adore a matte lip-
stick with a great lip liner),
Anthony goes back to basics.
“I try to drink a lot of water;
hydrating works for my skin,”
she says. The result is a
glowing complexion.
The working mother (she
has a 12-year-old son, Kiyan)
is living proof that what goes
into our body makes a huge
difference. She recently par-
ticipated in a vegan retreat to
detox. “I think doing a detox
at least once a year or every
couple of months is impor-
tant,” Anthony explains. “It’s a
way to reset your body.”
So what makes her feel
the most beautiful? “When
I’m happy,” she says. “To me,
[it] starts from within. It’s
not about what I’m wearing and how my face is done.”
And what’s her beauty advice for us? “Don’t compare
yourself to anyone else.”

yet her approach to beauty is all about keeping it simple

only natural for the pub-
lic to be interested in you.
So it’s no wonder Anthony
always keeps her hair, skin
and nails immaculate. She
deep-conditions her tresses
30 minutes to an hour every
week and loves to deck out
her nails. “I play around with
them so much,” she says.
“You will never see them
the same.... That’s where I
unleash my creativity.”
Despite all the glitz and
glamour, Anthony still believes
“less is more.” In fact, the star
looks outside of Hollywood
for her beauty muse. “I get
a lot of tips from Mom; she’s
been my inspiration,” she explains. “She has the best skin
and doesn’t age. I’m following what she has done for years,
which has never been a super over-the-top regimen.”
