Kristen Blabey has lived in Naples for 15 years, but her New England roots run deep.
Each summer, the Connecticut native and her family travel to Nantucket and rent a
home near Quidnet Beach in sight of Sankaty Head Lighthouse. While Blabey especially
loves visiting for the Fourth of July, she notes that there’s plenty to do throughout the
season, which typically kicks off in April with the Daffodil Festival and lasts through De-
cember’s famous Christmas Stroll. In Naples, Blabey stays busy managing her clothing
line, k.fisk, and keeping up with her three children. However, this beach-loving beauty
always looks forward to those chill island days exploring Nantucket’s wharf shops, farm-
lands, and bike trails. —Caroline RidgwayEndless SUMMER
