Missabe Road 2-8-0 No. 332. No. 4014 is
35 years younger than the Consolidation.
(^3) On BNSF rails, No. 4014 tiptoes across the
Grassy Point swing bridge that connects
Duluth, Minn., with Superior, Wis., on a
former Northern Pacific route. The body of
water is the St. Louis River that empties into
the Duluth-Superior harbor near this point.
(^4) No. 4014’s eastbound crossing of the 1912
Grassy Point swing bridge from another
perspective on July 21. Total bridge length is
almost 1,700 feet. Boaters and kayakers
populated the channel to witness the steam
