elebrating a first birthday isn’t an everyday
occasion, so model Natalie Brown and her
Aston Villa footballer fiancé Henri Lansbury
pulled out all the stops for their daughter
Mila’s big day. The pair threw a rainbow-themed
garden party at their Hertfordshire home and,
luckily, rain didn’t stop play! But the same can’t be
said when the family welcome OK! into their five-
bedroom home days later on a drizzly Wednesday.
After Natalie, 34, introduces us to the birthday
girl, we’re greeted with a friendly wave and grin from
Marley, her seven-year-old daughter from a previous
relationship. And with three female housemates to
contend with, it’s safe to say Henri, 28, is well and
truly overpowered. The midfielder laughs: ‘I felt
outnumbered when there were only two of them!’
After first being introduced 11 years ago, a
chance meeting in Barcelona in 2016 saw Natalie
and former Arsenal player Henri make things
official, with Henri popping the question the
following year. The couple are planning to tie the
knot in Italy, though they are yet to set a date.
While Natalie’s modelling career has seen her
star in campaigns for Bravissimo and Next, last
season Henri and his Aston Villa team mates were
promoted to the Premier League – cheered on by
their number one fan, the Duke of Cambridge!

William and juggling family life with their careers...How was Mila’s first
birthday party?
Natalie: I planned it all myself
and it was a bit stressful. But
Mila loved it!Has her first year flown by?
Natalie: So fast. It was lovely
to have quality time with
Marley and then do it all
again so many years later with
Mila. And to see both Marley
and Henri’s bonds with Mila
is amazing.Do the girls like football?
Henri: Mila’s really good with
a ball, actually! They come to
