T

his year is turning out to
be a momentous one for
Louise Thompson and her
fiancé Ryan Libbey. Louise
quit Made In Chelsea in March after
eight years on the reality show and
is now finally planning her wedding
with Ryan, having previously
postponed it for nine months to
focus on work.
‘We’re so excited for our
wedding day!’ says the bride-to-be.
‘We’re getting married next year. I
adore flowers, fashion and food so
the process is going to be a lot of
fun, but you can forget the idea of
the perfect wedding. We’re going
wildly off piste.’
Ryan, a personal trainer, moved
into Louise’s stunning London
townhouse three years ago and

they’ve been using it as the
headquarters of their business
Live Like Louise, which has an
app launching next month.
Taking a breather from their
busy schedule, the hospitable
pair invite OK! to view the
results of a recent makeover to
their office and living room.
Classing the finished look
as ‘Soho Farmhouse style’,
Ryan reveals that ‘Louise calls
the shots’ when it comes to
their interior design choices,
praising her creative eye. ‘It’s
old meets new, but still has the
connection and feel of maybe
being in Winston Churchill’s
home,’ he adds.
Revealing that she and
Ryan don’t always agree on
purchases, Louise says: ‘At the
moment I love a minimalist aesthetic
but Ryan was very keen on the idea
of a traditional study area with a
large Cambridge desk. I knew that
the space wouldn’t fit such clunky
antiquated pieces, so let’s just say we
compromised. I wanted to make sure
that things looked right while also
being “liveable” and comfortable.
For me it’s all about balance.’
The neutral colours offset by
a variety of wood tones creates a
warm, inviting vibe. ‘We wanted our
living room to be a cosy space that
allows us to relax in the evenings
after work, but at the same time we
occasionally use our living room as a
space for meetings,’ explains Louise.
Their cute pet pooch Koji, who’s
lined up as a potential ring bearer
for their big day, is ‘obsessed’ with
the green lounge chair. Louise loves
their swanky bar cabinet while Ryan
is a big fan of their home office,
which he refers to as ‘my sanctuary’,
joking that he goes there ‘to escape
Louise and the noise’!
They were assisted with the
makeover by stylists at Wayfair
UK and the brand’s resident style
