What type of music do you
like to listen to when you’re
working out?
Beyoncé, Crazy In Love! Her
tracks remind me of being out
with the girls and dancing the
night away.

What’s your
regular
fitness
regime?
I normally just
walk my dog
a lot with my
mum and her
dog. Then,
if I’m getting
ready for a
holiday, I’ll go
to the gym a
little more often to do a
light jog and weights.

What’s your favourite
gym class?
I don’t really do
classes, because
I can get a little
shy. I actually
really enjoyed
the yoga classes,
which we did
recently at my
Wellness Retreat
[which she runs
with James Lock in
Marrakech]. I think
it’s so important
not to forget
about your mind
when exercising,
and yoga helps
me stay super positive.
Maybe I should find a
class in Essex.

What gym class
would you steer
clear of?
I wouldn’t want to do
a spin class – I think
my legs would fall off!

Who do you
exercise with?
I like to exercise
alone so I can be

super focused – sometimes
I pop Netflix on my phone
when I’m doing cardio. If I
need a little extra motivation
I will book in with my PT, who
really whips me into shape.

Has your
view on
body image
changed
since being
on TOWIE?
No, I’ve
always been
pretty body
confident

  • it’s tricky
    leading
    a healthy
    lifestyle when
    filming, but you just
    need to find a routine
    that suits you, and just
    make sure you fuel
    your body to stay
    happy and healthy.

What’s your
signature dish
to cook?
A roast dinner.
My biggest tip is
to try garlic and
parmesan on your
green beans – it’s
a game changer!

You’re an
ambassador
for Norvell
Tanning...
I always feel
super confident
with a tan! This is the
first fake tan that I’ve
ever used – there’s
no bad smell and the
colour suits my skin so
well. I love that as an
ambassador I’ve been
able to introduce
my girlfriends to
the products.

JENNIFERANISTON
SKINSECRETAVOCADO
Jennifer likes to put her body
through its paces with full-on
morning workouts. After an
intense session, the star refuels
with poached eggs,
toast and avocado.
Avocado needs
to be eaten in
moderation
as it is high
in fat, but it’s
excellent for
skin health.

THE EXPERT’S VERDICT:

Nutritionist and author of Natural
Alternatives To Sugar Dr Marilyn
Glenville explains: ‘Avocado
is a very good source of vitamin E,
which is thought to have
several roles in skin health.
It also helps to protect
the skin from UV
rays, and has anti-
inflammatory
activity in the skin,
deterring skin
rashes, blemishes
and acne.’

CAMERONDIAZ
SKINSECRETOATS
In her younger days, Cameron
suffered from acne. She says:
‘While I was eating burgers
and burritos and onion rings
and French fries and sodas,
I had the worst skin. I mean,
I had terrible, terrible skin. I
tried to cover it with make-
up and I tried to get rid of it

with medication.’ She
found out that the only thing
that worked was overhauling
her diet and getting enough
exercise, and says her favourite
meal is savoury oatmeal.

THE EXPERT’S VERDICT: Some
studies have found that a zinc
deficiency could lead to acne,
so Cameron’s favourite meal
of oats is a good option.
Oats are rich in zinc, which
Mandi Nyambi recommends
as one of her top must-haves
for great skin. Dr Marilyn
Glenville says: ‘Oats are a
particularly rich source of
biotin, a vitamin that is
well-known for its role in
the health of our skin and
hair. Plus, they are an anti-
ageing food, packed full
of antioxidants.’
