On my last full day in paradise,
I bravely leave the sanctuary of my
hotel and join my new BFFs for an ex-
cursion on our very own private yacht
(syachting.com), helmed by captain Zoe,
one of the few female captains in the
area. We sunbathe, and get sloshed.
The others brave a swim while I put
some serious graft into developing my
tan. For the hundredth time on this
trip, I ask myself, “What is my life?”
All too soon it’s time to leave. I’m
devastated. It’s amazing how quickly
you become accustomed to living like
an A-lister. Before the flight home, I
squeeze in an hour-long Adonis
massage at the hotel spa. I’m
pummelled to oblivion and left feeling
utterly zenned out. That is, until my
plane touches down in the UK and I
realise, with a jolt, the honeymoon is
well and truly over. As I cart my
luggage to the tube, I think about how
important it is to take some time out
for self-care, and how much I deeply,
