Built by: Stu Clifton (ex Alamo Racing team)
Body: Fibreglass nose cone and boot lid while the
rest of the body is steel. The rain gutters have been
trimmed down and there’s custom side louvres
Paint: 2K custom green featuring lace and
pinstriping done by owner Dave
Chassis: 3x2 box-section custom chassis,
eight- point roll cage, tubbed
Engine: 455ci Pontiac Big Block topped with a 671 RBS
blower wearing two 950 cfm Holley E85 carbs. (The
Pop is dedicated to E85) Total rebuild by Lindsay Hay.
Gearbox: Turbo 400 with a 4000rpm stall convertor.
Diff: Ford 9 inch, 3.5 diff gears
Steering: Morris column to Vauxhall Viva rack & pinion
Brakes: Falcon discs and Wilwood 4-pot callipers
Front suspension: HC Viva front end
Rear suspension: Ladder bar set up
Interior: Custom race seat upholstered by
Jesse Berkett. A custom painted switch box by
Dave Pearce and aluminium door panels
Wheels and tyres: Front: American racing ET
Gassers wearing 22.5/4.5-15 Front Runners
while the rears are Mickey Thompson ET Drag
Wheels shod with 29x14.50-15LT HoosiersDash and gauges: Standard Ford Pop dash
with aftermarket switches and gauges
Electrical: Push button start, two kill switches,
Ice ignition system, line lock system
