THE Minnesota State Fairgrounds in St Paul was
once again packed to the gunnels with 11,445
cars and classic trucks at this year’s 46th edition
of MSRA’s Back to the 50s. It’s a hit with car
enthusiasts and spectators alike because it was
voted 2019’s Best Car Show in all of America.
Hats off to the 2000 dedicated and enthusiastic
volunteers (MSRA members and non-members
who volunteer and are from all over the US and
International), plus the 400+ vendors who made it
a must-be-at-this-event weekend in their calendar,
they made it a winner in so many ways. One
hundred thousand plus spectators poured through
the gates for the 3-day show and found something
for everyone. It’s one event which should be on
every hot rodders bucket list and next year (2020)
is their 47th anniversary so make it a date on June
19-21 2020. It is one of the most participated,
attended, and respected car shows in the USA.
