Thank you
HELLO PAUL, I would like to thank
you for a fabulous feature on my
‘32 Roadster in the latest issue, the
magazine has a lovely flow to it, the
photography by Alistair Ritchie is
superb and a great story by Bruce
Taylor. I am taking a copy of the
magazine on holiday with me through
Europe and then back to the States
to leave with my family living in
Maine, which I am sure will be
enjoyed by many along the way.
Regards, Bert Dove

Speedshow
HELLO everyone, It is hard to believe
that one whole week has already
passed since we started setting up
CRC Speedshow 2019 at the ASB
Showgrounds in Auckland. We
would like to thank everyone for
helping make the 13th edition of CRC
Speedshow an absolute cracker! The
entire showgrounds looked amazing
this year, and it was great to see so
many interactive and well thought
out displays everywhere we looked.
We’ve a l ready received a lot of very
positive feedback from the media,
many exhibitors and show visitors all
saying it was one of the best events
they’ve attended yet, and that’s a real
credit to you. Simply put, we can’t
thank you enough for helping make
CRC Speedshow the success it is! Next
year’s Speedshow will be held on the
18th and 19th of July 2020, and we are
definitely looking forward to working
with you again. We will be in touch
soon with 2020 booking forms and
site information, however if there is
a specific site or display area that you
would like to secure in the meantime,
please email [email protected]
or give us a call on 027 500 2875
anytime. In the meantime, take
care and we look forward to talking
with you all soon. Regards, Ross,
Brenda and the Speedshow Team

Bonus Time
HELLO again Hot Rodders, after
reading January 2019 issue and the
feature of Danny and Jadzi Neilson’s

194 8 Ford Pickup, I searched my
photo albums looking for others. The
first is Robbie Brown’s orange and
red version seen in Reefton in 1981.
(where is this one now?) The second
is a peach colour with a convertible-
style soft top from Invercargill and
seen in 1993 at the Dunedin Hot Rod
Show. The third is white with blue
flames and F1 00 rear fenders seen at
the 2005 Street Rod Nats in Westport.
I think this one was from the north
island and features a roof chop.
Regards, Ty Hepburn. Nelson.
from Greymouth Rodders.
