Leadfoot Ladies
HI PAUL , I just wanted to say thank you for publishing the list
of women drag racers I put together in the July 2019 issue of
the NZ Hot Rod Magazine. I had fun doing it. I would like to
thank the people who made contact with me to make sure
I had their names et/mph on the list. Yes, I know there are/
were a few mistakes, but I not perfect and the copy/paste on
the computer doesn’t work that well. If you are not on the
list please make contact with me [email protected]. I’m
slowly putting together a list of NZ Motorbike riders whot
have raced at competition meets here in NZ. If this is you
please contact me with the relevant details at the about email.
Many thanks, Mike Ashton, Auckland.

JULY 2019 issue: Article titled le Rods Nats in France. On
page 33, top right, the pic is not a 1930 Model A pickup as
stated. It’s a two-door sedan and not sure if it’s even a Ford
as the door hinges are opposite to normal two-door sedan
ones. Then on page 61 bottom left is not Mark Coffey’s
Chev sedan with 572. It’s a Model A two-door sedan. The
correct photo is on the opposite page in the middle. Then
on page 62 to top picture is a view taken from the second
floor, Not Josh Church’s 1948 Chev Fleetline in black as
stated. In August issue page 73 the King Of Castlemaine,
the twin superchargers are on a Model T Ford Coupe, not
Couple, as stated. Still enjoying the magazine each month.
Regards, Ty Hepburn, Nelson.
Beauty, thanks Ty. Ed.
