like to attach a main part to the
fuselage irst and then the other
sections individually. Happily,
the excellent engineering
of this kit makes this task
relatively easy if somewhat
time consuming as patience
is required to let each section
set thoroughly before moving
onto the next. It was surprising
to realise how quickly this
quite large and complex model
goes together and it was time
to get on with the painting.
This reminds me that not
only are etched seatbelts a must
on a kit such as this so are a set
of masks for the clear parts.
The underlying paint scheme is
the usual RLM 70/71/65 splinter
camoulage. However, as most
of the upper surface would be
white there is no need to go
the whole hog masking of the
splinter demarcation lines. I
