MASTER VESTIBULE AND OWNER’S VERANDA

Interior and fi ne art authorities Ann Huff and Meg Harrington of Huff
Harrington Design want to share a big little secret: Art can (and should!)
go everywhere. When they designed the private veranda and vestibule off
the master suite, the gallerists embodied the spaces with their signature
style of mixing storied antiques, like a silver Louis Philippe mirror and a
19th-century Louis Philippe commode, with elegant upholstery, textiles
and—of course—fi ne art. The elegant combo results in a redefi ned space
that spares the usual tropes of outdoor living. “No wicker here!” jokes the
duo. “We loved the concept of upholstery outside (thank you, indoor/out-
door fabrics) along with pieces you might see in an interior living space.
Art (like the oils on canvas by Debora Stewart) all add up to a chic, but
