A limewashed-brick estate home that overlooks a lake sitting
on 5-plus acres in a brand-new three-home community in
the heart of Buckhead was the site of the 2019 Southeastern
Designer Showhouse.
Designed by LOGAN DESIGN GROUP with Y. MCFADDEN
LLC and built by SOUTHERN GENTRY HOMES, the property,
which boasts historical ties, was brought fi rmly into the 21st
century thanks to a harmonious blend of warm, masculine
touches such as natural stone sourced on-site, as well as iron,
natural wood and other metals.
Deep roof overhangs lent a Lowcountry feel—and
provided generous space for the ultimate indoor-outdoor
connections—while extensive landscaping by JOE A. GAYLE
& ASSOCIATES and FLORALIS GARDEN DESIGN fashioned
a fresh narrative of place through mature plantings, curated
