Where you can, avoid natural wicker, which will
inevitably be ruined by the elements. Instead, choose
synthetic resin wicker, which will withstand extreme
temperatures and is a breeze to clean. contrary to
popular belief, plastic outdoor furniture is not durable,
and will buckle and fade before long. rather opt
for iron, stainless steel, aluminium and wood (teak,
eucalyptus and pine). These may cost more initially,
but the investment will pay off in the long run.
