When we design a new piece, our method is always
to start with the material followed by the need.
our ‘Vondel’ marble and travertine tables were
born out of a need to design the pieces we wanted
for our own space, and the design serves to hero
the material in its purest form. For our new
‘Chelmsford’ coffee table, we sought inspiration
from ’50s Italian design, using glass as the focus,
which is supported by brushed stainless steel and
satin-sprayed steel details. When placed together,
the contrast of the materials – polished metal and
honed stone – creates an interesting juxtaposition.
When we design, we think only about the product
and not how it fits into a space. It’s not curated or
perfect, but that’s part of what makes it feel natural

  • we like interiors that happen through participation,
    not through perfection.
