parking permitted in lorry park as long as theattendants OK
it. Exit M4at Junction 6 and follow signs for coach park (not

£5). 7pm to 9am it’s £1.50.Tickets from adjacent car park.

walk to town centre.

Gloucestershire with 102 spaces. Good for Bristol City Centre,
Southmead Hospital,Yate Shopping Centre.
Maritime Heritage Centre Short Stay Car Park, Gasferry Road
(BS1 6JL). 150 spaces, max stay 5 hours. No height restriction.
Portwall Lane Long Stay Car Park(BS1 6NB). 150 spaces. No
height restriction.
Portway P&R(BS11 9QE). 2.1m height barriers.

BEACONSFIELD
For Bekonscot Model Village,Penncroft Car Park(Burkes Road,
Beaconsfield HP9 2PE) has no height barrier. Backs onto Marks
& SpencerFood Hall in Burkes Road (HP9 1PB). This car park is
mainly forcars, but the council says there are a couple of spaces
at the exit that may provideenoughroom for a motorhome.

11 of M11).Take the third turning on the roundaboutat the
entrance and follow theroad right round to the other side of the
car park where there are spaces for motorhomes. Press a button
for the barrier to be raised. £1 for up to 18 hours, or £10 for 24
hours, but no overnight stays. Sat-nav CB2 9FT.

Free motorhome parking isavailable for no more than 23 hours
atFisherman’s(CB7 4AT), although this gets busy, andForehill
Long Stay(CB7 4AF) car parks (regulationsapply).
GRAFHAMWATER
Visitor Centre Car Park(PE28 0BH). Large car park with plenty
of room for motorhomes. Goodcycl e path around the lake.
CHESHIRE
CHESTER
ÉBoughton Heath P&R(CH3 5QD). Special bay for motorhomes.
On the A55,at junction with A41.Frequentbuses to cityat £2
per person return. TheLittle RoodeeCar Parkon Castle Drive,
Chester CH1 1SL, opposite Chester Racecourse (five minutes’
walk to city centre) has no height or weight restrictions. Large
vehicles should park in designated bays and pay £5.50 for up
to 3 hours, £8 for 3 to 6 hours, £10 for over 6 hours. Car
parking costs £4 for up to 3 hours, £5 for 3 to 6 hours, £5.80
for over 6 hours, if you take up more than one space you need
to payfor each space used. Overnight parkingavailablefrom
5pm-9am, costs £1.50 for car spaces or £5 for larger spaces.
The barrier isclosed and lockedat 10.30pm, reopenedat 6am
(there is a phone number on the barrier for emergency
opening). Chester’s fourP&Rsites all have parking areas for
high vehicles before the height barriers to the main car parks.
CORNWALL
BODMIN
Fore Street(PL31 2DB). No height restriction but 3,500kg limit.
BOSCASTLE
Several bays for motorhomesat far end ofCobweb Car Park
(PL35 0HE), but due to bad signage theyare usually taken by
cars. There are another two car parks in Boscastle that also
accept motorhomes.
BUDE
Motorhomes are allowed to parkfor free after 6pm in a field to
the right of theTourist Information Centre (EX23 8LE), but no
overnight stays are allowed.
Crooklets(EX23 8NF). 320 spaces, no height or weight
restrictions.
Summerleaze(EX23 8HJ). 450 spaces, no height orweight
re strictions.
The Crescent(EX23 8LE), on grassat end. No motorhomes
permitted after 11pm until 8am.
Widemouth Bay(EX23 0AW). 560 spaces, no height or weight
restrictions. No motorhomes after 11pm.
CALLINGTON
New Road South(PL17 7BE). No height restriction but 3,500kg
weight limit.
